Some Random Thoughts and Observations

  • Andy Kaufman is supposed to resurface from his supposed faked death tomorrow.
  • I still haven’t come up with a good plot for “Stickman”
  • Lost another wife to Ditech
  • Half of the movie “Elephant” is just the camera following a couple high school students as they walk down the hallways. How the hell did this win the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival?
  • Vampire Joe McCarthy started using Blogger for his blog because he got tired of having to update the html code for the index everytime he wanted to make a new post. RIP banners
  • Dadaism is cool
  • Capri Sun is addicting, I’ve gone through like 10 pouches over the past two days
  • There is a new trailer for the Brad Bird-directed Pixar film “The Incredibles” and I am very excited
  • I just remembered I need to make more “Hog and Dog” soon
  • Sorry for the previous May 9 entry. I didn’t have anything else to post.
  • This is a really cool piece of Dadaist artwork
  • I need to come up with an idea for the cover of the next issue. Originally I was going to use a picture of my friend’s aunt’s dog pooping but after much consideration I decided not to.
  • I’ve been reading through the archives of “Tom the Dancing Bug” and “Red Meat” over the past few weeks
  • I’ve also been going through the open-content encyclopedia Wikipedia a lot lately. They didn’t have an entry for “Life in Hell”, so I added one
  • Speaking of which, my monthly visit to mattgroening.com to see if it’s opened yet turned up fruitless once again. It’s been like 3 years now.
  • Here is some more Dada art
  • I watched a bunch of Bill Plympton shorts yesterday
  • I brought Bristol board back in 2001 and I’ve only used like 3 sheets since then.
  • How does one exactly “snap” into a Slim Jim? I don’t think they ever adequately explained this procedure.
  • I keep hitting “;” instead of “‘” and it’s really annoying me
